“Autonomous Architecture”
Waechter Architecture works to create
buildings with conceptual, experiential, and compositional clarity. The firm bases its practice on deep analysis and reflection on architectural precedent and distilling a methodology to achieve coherent and original building designs.
For this storefront exhibit, Waechter presents a series of models illustrating key compositional relationships between each building's outer "vessel" which highlights form and fenestration and an interior revealing the internal spaces, circulation, and service cores.
